Damn they are a bit better priced now. £699 here in the Uk for a 20". £1249 for the 23". I'll take two 20's for 149 quid more than one 23" thankyou!

For you US guys just waking up - $999 for the 20", $1799 for the 23" and $2999 for the 30"

I'd pay the extra £150 as well to get another 17 inches over the price difference of one 23" versus 2x20" !!! doh!

Lots of big employers get their employees discounts. See if Apple offers discounts through your employer. On my employer's Apple store, the new prices are:

20" $919
23" $1655
30" $2759

Good point! Two 20s next to each other might be more useful than one 23.

Why the HELL doesn't apple have 15 and 17" models in their line-up... or at least a 17"... not everyone can afford a $999 display!
