ok to plug firewire iPod dock into ext firewire drive?

I have my iSight plugged into the drive, is it ok to plug my iPod dock into it? no issues here I presume?

(just got first iPod today)

It should be fine. At least that is what I do. I have a firewire daisy-chain of iBook -> 2.5" Hard Drive -> 2.5" Hard Drive (sometimes) -> iPod and have no problems.

I'm Going G5 > HD > I-pod with no problems. Its amazing how much faster FW is than my USB2.

Just don't plug it into a DVD burner or something like that while it's burning. You shouldn't have problems with HDDs.
