While waiting for MacWorld San Francisco today (January 10) to buy a new PowerMac G5, I bought a Cinema Display 20".
Is it possible to connect the screen to an aged iMac DV SE 400 MHz by using the Apple DVI to VGA Display Adapter?
Or is this a one-way thing?

Sure it's *possible*

You'd need VGA to DVI display adapter, which is around €300 and even then, the iMac DV would only output a max resolution of 1024x768, mirrored.
