So I just thought I'd post and see what the consensus is on disconnecting you iPod before you get the OK to Disconnect check mark. Can I do any permanent damage to it? I know files can get corrupted and such, but I don't keep anything permanently on mine anyway so that's no big deal. I'm just curious about physical damage.

I highly doubt it. The biggest risk is file corruption. or in the worst case something that would require you to restore/erase the iPod (though this would be HIGHLY unlikely, as there's no reason the iPod would open sensitive apps in read/write mode, unless during a software update).
