I have just bought a 160GB Seagate hard drive and am looking for a FW enclosure. I have a iMac G4 800 so I think my only option is a FW400 enclosure. Are there any differences between enclosures? Are the ones below any good? The Rosewill claims that it is plug and play, while the Plumax has a driver disc. Does this make a difference? Anybody have any experiences with these two brands? I've tried searching the forums, but haven't seen these two. Coolmax seems popular, but I'm not impressed by the look. I know that shouldn't be my main criteria, but if I could have funtion AND form, that would be great!

Plumax $39:

Kinda cool, but could be kinda cheesy.

Rosewill $51.50:

Has that G5 look.

Looks like they both have the 911 chip, so that is good.
The Rosewell has an on/off switch which can be nice - I can't tell if the Plumax does or not (some enclosures don't).

Then again I couldn't get the menus at the Rosewill.com website to work with Safari...
They get a minus for that!

Yeah, I couldn't get rosewill's site to work in Mozilla or IE (on a PC) to work either. I guess I'll take my chances.

The rose looked a little better and also looks to take up less space.
