Bluetooth DWB-120M with headset as a bluetooth microphone?

I have a DWB-120M bluetooth stick and a Bluetooth headset for my phone, I tried to pair the headset with my mac, and the setup assistant did see it, but when I pressed continue it said my bluetooth hardware was not compatible. Do bluetooth headsets only work with a DBT-120 type stick? I've updates all my bluetooth system software and firmware.

Look after my manor, or I will bum you, literally, to death.
