FM transmitter/jammer that outputs RBDS... is that asking too much?

Apparently so. Seriously, how hard would it be to translate the ID3 info into RBDS then beam it over with the FM signal? The factory stereo in my car supports it, so if there was such a thing I could have song info on my HU without having to rip it out and put in something else (last resort option).

And I've heard of people adding devices that block outside FM sources for a cleaner response with the transmitter.

Is such a device a possibility?
