For any owners of the SightFlex, I have a question. I just ordered and received my SightFlex. People had talked about popping sounds that the flexible neck makes. Well, my unit does not make any of these sounds. It is completely silent. Also, I can't make it wrap down then back up like the picture on the box. The neck just doesn't seem as strong as I had thought. Does anyone think I may have an older version or something?

Thanks,
Mike

Used mine once.. Would not retain it's shape as I left it, it made horrible noises when flexed, and promptly broke the cable inside somehow the 1st time I actually used it.
Utter crap.
The worst thing about having a failing memory is..... no, it's gone.

I called and they said it sounded as though my unit was defective. They are sending a new one. I will report back to see if there is any difference.
