Quick question: my d2 has shat itself. It's the internal drive, so can I just take it out and stick a new 3.5" IDE drive in the enclosure?

Anyone done it before? Anything to watch out for?

I own a Lacie D2 that came stock with a 120gb Western Digital drive that was as loud as a train. I bought a 200gb Seagate drive and swapped it in. It's not hard at all just be very careful to not damage the firewire card at the tail end of the unit and when you slide the chassis off be careful not to damage the IDE cable.
