i wanted to use a dvi kvm switch to switch between my powermac and game dev pc. the main reason is to prevent the use of a 2nd monitor. i am getting a 20" cinema display and i just basically want to know, if there are any drawbacks as in video quality, refresh rate, or anything of that nature. thanks in advance for any responses.

I have seen Dr. Bott's ADC switches in use with 22" Cinema Displays, so I'm confident they could handle the smaller model, but they would require several $20 adapters.

The Gefen switches will work well, and they make every kind you can imagine (like switching dual displays between two computers). They also cost a lot.
