It uses VGA, so your image quality will not be neat as good as a DVI monitor.

On a 15" display, you would be hard-pressed to find any difference.

Definetly get a 17" the resolution on a 15" sux compared to a 17" and you'll regret not getting a 17" DVI later on I guarantee it.

Most 15" LCD's only go to a resolution of 1024x768. Most 17" LCD's can do a resolution of 1280x1024.
