question... does anyone know if the Apple powerbrick does all the necessary voltage conversion when travelling on vacation?
The reason why I'm asking is because I'm heading down to Cuba on the weekend and the resort says that 220v power adapters are required in the rooms. Now I'm thinking that all I need is a cheap (~$5) plug-end adapter and not a full power converter (~$50) because the Apple powerbrick will do all that for me, right?
I've seen the Apple travel kit, and it looks like its just the 'duck head' adapters that change... this makes me believe that the powerbrick does all the necessary voltage work, right?
If anyone has any advice about powering things like my (North American) iPod and digital camera down in Cuba, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks.
