I bought those energizer 2 batteries last night and popped em in to the BT mouse. This morning I had a battery low message. I thought the mouse turned off during inactivity? Do I need to phisically slide the door closed to make the batteries last or did I just get a bad pack? BTW: This is on an iMac G5 OS 10.3.7. Thanks!

I don't know if you have a Kensington mouse, but I do. Ignore the warning. It will go away and your mouse will continue to work.

i think you got a bad pack. i am not sure if you need to actually turn off the mouse by closing the slider or if its sleep mode is as good for overnight, but i always leave it in its sleep mode and it lasts a lot longer than a night to low battery me.

try take the batteries back
