Has anyone got the following combination to work:

Installing ActiveSync 3.8.1 (current) on Windows XP SP2 running under VirtualPC 7.0.1...?

I'm having difficulties even getting the install wizard to complete copying files. Just like to know if it's possible.

PS Before helpful people tell me about PocketMac 3, yes I know, it's good, but I need to be able to run a mapping program that routinely syncs to the iPAQ through ActiveSync, and I want to be able to do it from my PowerBook.

PPS Hate Windows, tolerate PocketPC, though I much prefer my trusty Palm Tungsten T3, but it's not an option here.

Can you get Activesync to even complete the install? Mine hangs at 92 percent.

EDIT: Nevermind, I let it run for about an hour and it finally finished.
