I have a Sonnet (Firmtek) ATA 100 PCI controller.

I have 2 drives attached to bus 1 and 1 Drive attached to bus 2, I am getting some abnormal speeds on the drive #2 no matter which IDE bus I connect it to on the card.

On the other drives I am getting like 45MB/sec read and write, on the problem drive I am only getting 45MB read and like 15MB write.

I have updated the firmware to v4.0 and have tried everything I can think of to get the drive working properly.

Anyone have any other suggestions? I will try switching it to the internal ATA66 bus, but am not sure if the drives needs to be on ATA100 or not.

TIA for any help.

A Fresh erase (after 2 tries) finally fixed the problem, all is well at acceptable speeds now!
