Hi all,

I just got a new 12" PowerBook and 20" ACD! Yahoo!

I've got this one random problem that's happened twice. I've got a Microsoft Intellimouse 2.0 wireless usb mouse connected to one of the usb ports on the display. When I unplugged my powerbook (after using it in closed-lid mode) from the display to use it solo, the mouse arrow disappeared completely! The only way I could bring it back was by restarting.

It happened to me early on as well, when I plugged it in the first time in closed-lid mode. Arrow wouldn't show up on the display, but I knew it was there because when I moused-over the dock, it showed the names of the programs. I could click, everything, just couldn't see the pointer. Same behavior both times.

Running 10.3.7.

Any ideas? How can I bring the pointer back without restarting? Or is this a MS bug?

Thanks,
Jason

I just wanted to bump this one up because I have the same problem. A search on Apple's website didn't turn up much.

I sure dig the display though. Got it yesterday and now I can't believe I ever got by with that tiny 12" screen.

I've had the same problem and I posted in the powerbook forum a little while ago. Maybe try to upgrade to 10.3.8? I haven't been home to try out the update to see if that fixed the problem, anyone else had that fix it yet?

Oh, and it's not your mouse because I have the same issue with a logitech mx 900

I'm actually running 10.3.8 and I still had a problem. Maybe this is a new issue and Apple just hasn't created a fix for it yet.

Time will tell...
