I originally bought these speakers for my bedroom but they sounded so good I set them up on my powermac. I had been using the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 but the bass was a bit heavy and highs were dull, vocals seemed recessed. The Model Twos have a more balanced sound. The treble is clear and present without sounding harsh. Sibilance is crisp but not offensive. The bass does not go as deep as the Klipsch but is less bloated. An optional subwoofer can be added for deeper bass response.
