Hi, just wondering if leaving an isight on all the time would cause any overheating or other problems. I'm thinking of using it as a monitoring webcam occasionally (like being away for a weekend) and wondering if there would be any reason why I shouldn't.

Cheers,

J.

I have heard of some other people doing this as well and would also like a response to this question. Assuming its well ventilated will the isight be ok. Mine isn't under warranty anymore and I don't want to find out the hard way.

I've had one on uninterrupted for three months, not a single problem.
