I got with my G5 the bluetooth keyboard and mouse package. One question I had is: Is it normal for when I close the bottom slide of the mouse, and then re-open it for the mouse and computer to lose pairing? I thought this wouldn't be the case, but every time I do it, it loses it's pairing.

What do you mean by 'lose pairing'? Normally closing the bottom slider will turn of the mouse, causing your computer to stop seeing it. When you open the slider and then use the mouse again (click the button), it should pause for a second then re-connect. Does it not re-connect for you?

I found that my mouse never automatically paired after switching it off. However, I checked the Apple site and installed all the latest updates, such as Apple Bluetooth Software 1.5 and Firmware 1.3, and now it works as it should.
