i am planning to buy an ACD20+mac mini,
(1)So how do you guys find about ACD20?(more like to hear what do yo think need to be improved)
(2)As i have got a PC at home as well, can i connect the ACD with Two machine(mini,PC)at the same time, and switch between two machine?(during the keynote of steve this year, when he was showing spotlight with some pic, the machine stuck, and he just change the desktop to another he called"backup system", so can i do that as well).
(3)Do you think windowsXP runs on ACD20 will be agly, or unacceptable?

There were once four people named Everybody, Somebody, Nobody and Anybody. Somebody had to do a job, but Nobody wanted to do it. Nobody could see that Anybody could do it, and Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job. Nobody ended up doing it, and it so happened that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

I can't find any too many fault with my cinema display. I like the integrated usb and firewire ports. The image quality is good. It looks great and matches my g5. I wish they integrated the power supply into the display and it is expensive compared to other displays.

It's included but it's an external brick.

1. See the threads on the Dell 20 and 24" displays. The Dell displays are comparable (even superior, in many ways), at a very substantially lower cost.
2. Yes, you use a device called a KVM switch (keyboard, video, mouse). It has an input for each computer, and an output for the monitor, plus USB ports that are switched in tandem.
3. It'll run fine, aside from XP's intrinsic ugliness!

This seems like an appropriate thread. Is the optimal resolution for the 20" of 1680 x 1050 supported on my Powermac? I don't see it listed when I open displays in system preferences. Is that just because I have a CRT running on it now? Or is that resolution not an option for me if I change displays?
My Mac is a G4 Quicksilver 2002. Any answers would be appreciated.

I love my 20" Cinema Display. I purchased mine about a week after they were released. I have used it for 2-4 hrs a day for almost 2 yrs (I think I bought it in 2003) and it is still as bright and clear as the day I got it. My display has one dead pixel but I don't really notice it unless I use a solid white desktop picture.
I think that the current 20" display (Al) is even nicer than the one that I have. However, I agree w/ some of the other posters in this thread, if you want to save money the Dell 20" display is about 1/2 the price of the Apple and the LCD is as good, if not better, than the one that Apple uses.
