I have a question. I have an old G4 Powermac from 2001 that has had an airport card installed in it recently. I am to connect a D-Link wireless router (DI-514 model) to the above mentioned computer. Now here is my problem. The airport card reads the router tells me there's a signal but I can't connect to the internet. I have called both Macintosh and D-Link and both blame the other on the problem. I have turned off all firewalls on the Mac and am now at a loss on what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Much,
Larry

Some more info would help...

What are the IP addresses of your computer and router?
Does the router work if you plug into it directly with an ethernet cable?

P.S. This should actually be in the Networking forum.

I'm running OSX and the router does work when it's plugged in via ethernet cable. And yes, I apologize, I realize this should be in Networking forum. I'm new here. sorry.

Certainly no need to apologize to me. I put that in more because the people over there have some way strong network-fu, and will have better answers.
