just convinced my parents to replace their 5-year-old imac for a mac mini and a monitor.
(and replace dialup with dsl...adios aol!!)

want to find them an inexpensive but decent 17" (or 15"...) monitor, and am soliciting recommendations.

ideas?

and a good place to get one??

About the cheapest place I know to get an LCD is TigerDirect. You shouldn't have a problem finding a 17" for under $200. I have purchased from them on numerous occasions and have always gotten great service.
