i have an iTalk and recently tried to use it with my external lavalier mic and am having trouble getting it to work.

the mic is an ATR35s. it is an omnidirectional condenser mic, its sensitivity is rated as -54 dBm +/-3dB, 1kHz at 1 Pa and the impedance is 1000 ohms +/- 30%

is this an acceptable type of mic to use with the iTrip? when i record with the mic there is no sound recorded.

anyone know if this is an acceptable type of mic to use externally with the iTrip (this is a wried mic). if this is not a good mic to use, can anyone recommend a good lavalier mic for use with the iTalk?

thanks!
