In an attempt to get away from the horrendous 'Price Gouging' of HP Ink carts (and the general crapness of the 'remanufactured' ones), and after dumping a Epson after the print head got clogged. I have decided to give Canon a try (all the ink comes in at under £10 and we have a separate replaceable print head).
But printouts all seam a bit 'ink heavy' and darker in colour than the HP959 I had before.
(i.e. a letterhead containing a rose is bright red on the screen, and was bright red on the HP printer, but now the same image is a lot darker red)
In the HP 'Print' dialogue box/sheet there was a slider where you could use less ink, but I can't find a similar setting on the Canon one. is there a Coloursink(sp?) setting I may have missed somewhere?
I am mostly printing on regular white inkjet/laser/copy paper, not the fancy 'Photo quality' stuff.
