I upgraded my iMac G5 with a 200GB hard drive. I have the 80GB SATA drive that came with it. I would like to put it in a firewire enclosure but I am having a hard time finding one. I have found USB2 enclosures. Any ideas? I would like to get one that at least looks good sitting beside my iMac but at this point I am willing to settle with about anything. Any advice would be appreciated.
EDIT: I did a search of the forums but couldn't find anything on SATA firewire enclosures.
This one says any ATA but I don't think it means SATA. Am I correct on this?

SATA to firewire is hard to find, because SATA is designed different way than ATA. I've seen many solutions which connects external SATA drive to a PCI card, but this is impossible because iMac doesn't have PCI slot.
Anyway, I found this link from google:

I don't think the iMac G5 has an external SATA connection.
You do have 2 Firewire ports. If you need more ports, just add a Belkin Firewire hub.
I haven't tried this one, but I believe it should work well enough.

If you want more than one, you might be able to chain one from the other.
After you get this, buy an internal ATA IDE drive and install it. It is usually very simple to install.

Thanks for the link. It looks like SATA firewire enclosures are running at a semi-premium price. It would almost be cheaper for me to sell my HD and get a larger IDE drive with enclosure.

I think you misunderstood what I am looking for
I already have an 80GB SATA drive. Just looking for a good looking cheap firewire enclosure. If I had an external SATA connection I would be set. I found a couple enclosures for around $25.

Thanks for the link. I think I have made the decision that it would be just as cheap to get an IDE drive and an enclosure. I could keep my SATA drive and upgrade my PC with a SATA card.

WiebeTech also makes some products like this. They are extremely expensive, but having used them in the past, they are also some of the best-made computer products (of any kind) I have ever seen.

Can you use a USB 2 enclosure instead?

I'm only going to look at firewire enclosures at this point. If I didn't want the ability to boot off of the drive I would be set. Unfortunately I can't boot off a USB 2 device unless something has changed recently that I don't know about.

Wow, they are fairly expensive. Thanks for the tip but it looks like any kind of SATA firewire enclosure is expensive.

HI
I am looking for the same kind of product, but I *would* be happy with USB2, (or Firewire) so if anyone could point me in the right direction that'd be great!
Thanks
