I posted this in the A/V forum (and the lounge!) but its a little slow there, so.....

I've been looking for a little while now for some good speakers for my powerbook. I have an airport express too. I would like to use these as quasi monitors too, so quality is important. I cant really afford "real" monitors though.

Trying to decide between the Sound sticks and the
Klipsch Ultra 2.0 Pro Speakers

I have an old subwoofer (yamaha beige thing) so I dont NEED the one with the sound sticks, unless I NEED THE ONE WITH THE SOUND STICKS!!!

Any suggestions outside of these two are welcome as well.

I have the Soundsticks and they are wonderful. Of course, I got mine used for about US$50 but they're still in pristine shape and sound tremendous. They also look good and complement Apple kit quite well.
