I was curious if there was a docking tation or port replicator for the G4 17"? It would seem to be a bit of a hassle to continuously have to unplug/replug ports when travelling.

If there is such a peripheral, does it duplicate the ports of the updated 17" PB?
Am I ready for the Mac? I want a 60G iPod!!!!!

Unfortunately NO. That's one of the negative points with all of the Powerbooks.

FWIW: Most of the manufacturers (sans IBM) are moving away from Docking Stations. The current line of Inspirons only has 1 production model that still supports them. That too is a shame IMHO.

What I would recommend that you do is get yourself a decent USB hub and plug your peripherals into that. That should reduce you to two plugs when you "dock" at your desk. (Power + 1 USB plug). If you want to use an external monitor, make that 3 plugs. :-)

You could further reduce your dependency on plugs and wires by using a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. (no wires!)
