Is the Powerbook G5 limited to video cards that specifically say "Mac Edition" or will any AGP or PCI-X video card work? (Assuming that they are nVidia or ATI)???

Thanks ...

PowerBook?

To install a video card in a Mac out of the box you'll need a special "Mac edition" or whatnot. Some PC video cards can be flashed to work on a Mac.

Flashing a card means to overwrite the card's PC ROM with the Mac ROM from a "Mac edition" card.

Not all cards can be flashed, and ATI and Nvidia do not encourage you to do so.
