During my recent vacation, I left my iTrip in my Dad's car (we drove from Albuquerque to Phoenix to visit one of my brother's).

Anyway, the iTrip has always worked well but since I left it behind, I thought I'd check to see what people are using these days and if I should get something else or go ahead and have him ship the iTrip back to me.

my iPod is a 60GB photo model.

IMO, it depends.

If your car has a regular tape deck, I'd prefer a tape adapter. The quality is better, and the countless search for an undistorted FM channel is over.

If you change cars a lot (like using rental cars), the iTrip is probably the better option.

I myself use both, but the iTrip only when there is no tape or line-in available.
