Try searching Google or some of the PC-oriented sites for reviews. The OS the computer runs should make a difference in the image quality...

I'm using that same model with both my PC and Mac, and it is a beautiful display. Even with using a VGA connector between it and my iBook, it still produces a very sharp and crisp picture.
For the money, it really can't be beat, especially if you get a refurb one from www.delloutlet.com
