Purchased one of those GeeThree Multiports for my Quicksilver. Works very nice. It does have "dongle" cables to attach it to your existing USB and Firewire connections, but your not missing anything cause you still get a useable two ports on the card for USB and Firewire, along with the one USB, two Firewire ports, and a Card Reader on the front of the system. I could care less about the card reader myself I just wanted the usb and firewire ports.

However, I also have a USB 2.0 card installed. But pluggin in the Sweet Multiport card to the USB 2.0 card grants a "No Sleep" situation due to the card reader. I have looked at the pinouts on the board and I think for those who are inclided can remove 2-3 wires on the ribbon cable and isolate the card reader and not even being there. So there fourth you can get usb 2.0 on the front panel for those high speed thumb drives availble today. I'm tempted to do this as I've been picking GeeThree's brain on this and I just need to get a spare cable in case I mess it up.

However hooked up to the USB 1.1 ports grants total normal system activity including "Sleep".

Maybee the usb 2.0 with a card reader pluged in sleep problem will be fixed in Tiger?

Otherwise good product for those who want front mounted ports on the systems it's designed for...
