Anyone running the Canon Optura 50 on OS X yet? It's not listed on Apple's compatibility page. Then again, neither is my several-year-old Optura 200MC, but it works just fine.
I'm pretty sure it's compatible with iMovie, but Canon's site still says that the compatibility info is "Coming Soon". If anyone could help us out please respond! I just bought this model camcorder as well and would love to know about any experiences. Also, check CNet for a review of this device.

It should work for you. I've got an Optura 60 which works with both iMovie HD and FCE HD on Panther and Tiger.
