This is the new model that's just come out (basically their TVR without the tuner) and I'm having problems. Below is the email I sent to them which I think explains it all. Any help appreciated!

Hi

I've just bought a Studio DV, and although I can capture video from various sources, the one source I bought it for, a video recorder, doesn't work. If I connect a games console, or digital camera with sound to the phono inputs I get both picture and sound and I can capture video using iMovie perectly. However, if I connect a VCR using a cable that has SCART one end and twin audio phonos and an s-video socket at the other end, I get nothing. It has a switch on it for reversing the signal but this makes no difference. I've tried it with 2 different VCRs and I get the same with both. Yet if I take either VCR and connect it to a TV using the s-video and phono plugs, it works perfectly. I simply don't understand what is going on, and as it stands the unit is no use to me because it works with everything but a VCR.

Any help would be appreciated.
