Hey all I wanted to see if anyone had a solution to this....
I am upgrading my original G4 Superdrive (quicksilver) to a newer burner for faster right speeds.
The upgrade went without a hitch and shows up in system profile as apple supported and everything work just fine except....
when i try to boot from a cd and hold down the c key while booting (or the option key to see which devices are availble) it just wont boot. it reverts to the installed os
now if i boot into the os and let say put in the os cd's that say you need to restart your computer. it changes the startup drive to the dvdrom and actually does boot from the cd.
anyone know why this would happen?
