Hi,
I'm in the market to replace my old CRT with a ACD, probably a 20, but I'm concerned about games.

The Apple specs page says the lowest resolution is 1024x640, and I have some older RTS games that run at 800x600 or even 640x480. Does any one know if games that support really low resolutions will refuse to run? Or will the ACD really go to these resolutions if coerced.

Thanks for any info

I have had good luck with older games running on higher res LCDs. It can get a bit distorted but this has never affected my gameplay.
