PowerBook 15-inch (brand new)
1.5GHz/512MB/80GB/Combo (Stock)

Apple Wireless Keyboard
Apple Wireless Mouse
(also several other bluetooth mice)

Are no longer working as well as they did under Panther.
And they work fine on my Mac mini, so perhaps is PowerBook's newer BT 2.0 causing issues.

They keyboard consistently looses its connection, or is slow to respond, or stalls then types everything out at once. My mice stutter and skip too much to use with precision anymore. Any ideas?

Fresh batteries in all devices. No more than 1-2 feet distances. Tried pairing/unpairing, restarting BT, changing battery makes and messed with tracking speeds and repeat rates.

Was hard for keyboard to make it through this posting. (Alot of editing wwwwwwwaas required). --- example (repeatng w).

Strike that ... it is my PowerBook.

I realized I never ran Panther on the PowerBook, I installed Tiger as soon as I got home Friday night as I ought it new at the lauch event.

I have a feeling a Genius will want to send it away. This machine is beautiful, and any PowerBook I have eversent in, came back with different batteries that were damaged and or scratches on the PowerBook itself.

I am going to ask around, and then see a Genius tomorrow or the next day.

If any one reads this has a clue, let me know!
