I am not home and the model number escapes me but my Brother Networkable printer (printer/scanner/copier/fax) won't print under OS 10.4. The jobs start but they stop right way. Everything prints fine from my Windows PC. Is there a new setting in the firewall in 10.4 I need to change that was not there in 10.3??

I did check the Brother site and there is no updated driver that I can find.

Check your /Library/Printers directory. If the old drivers are not in /Library/Printer/Brother or /Library/Printer/PPD/yourlanguage.lproj/, then delete the old ones and try again.

When I finally got home I just had to download the CUPS driver from Brother for OS 10.4. The printer showed up inder Bonjour (I almost forgot it was the new name for Rendevous and sat there for a min wonder what the heck I was looking at)....told it to use the new CUPS driver and all is well.

All in all Brother seems to support OS X very well.
