I like to keep my HP LaserJet 1160 and its print server powered on all the time so that I can print whenever I want to. This works great, except that I worry about overheating/wear on the components. I assume that the 1160's low power mode makes this a fairly low risk, but it is in a cabinet and although there is breathing space around it, sometimes it does appear to get a mite toasty.

Should I worry about this, or let it be?

Use it however you want, it won't have any impact on life.
