Greetings!

This isn't exactly a Mac question; I have some other kind of computer at work, but am hoping they'll see the light soon...

I have an unusual need for a combination computer display/ video monitor. Y'see, my job requires me to do tons of stuff on my computer - mostly paperwork. Occasionally, I'm required to watch brief vhs video tapes - maybe once each week.

What'd I'd like is a display that'll serve double-duty between my computer and VCR. I'm leaning toward the samsung 710 mp. It appears to have video and computer inputs. The reviews say it's a good monitor and a fair tv. The price is also right -- looks like I can get one for under $350 (actually, I'm looking to buy 3) Does anyone know anything about it? Does anyone have a better idea? Does anyone know of a better or less expensive choice? I'd like to stay at around 17". Can anyone recommend any vendors?

thanks in advance...

Mike

Well, if you shop around, you can get Dell's 20" widescreen LCD for just under $500. It has every input imaginable, and can do picture-in-picture.
