hey! i haven't posted here in a while and i love my powerbook, but somethings been bugging me since the day i bought it and i usually don't do a lot of printing but the time has come i have a lot of pictures to print for a school project and i need it to work right/better...

ok so i have an HP Photosmart 1000 printer, and mac os 10.3.9..... and no matter what i print it always prints really REALLY slow and pixelated, but when i plug my printer into my PC it prints dozens of pages per minute, they fly out! and it prints photo quality instead of pixely... what am i missing ??

i searched and couldn't find anything that explained this... thanks any help is appreciated!

This was NOT a PowerBook topic. The forums named after Mac models are for discussing the computers themselves, not the things you do on or with them, or things you use with them.

Have you tried the same cable on both computers?

Have you checked HP's help site for a possible problem/solution?
