Do you already have the cinema display? If not, why no get yourself a 24" widescreen lcd that supports s-vid and composite inputs as well as VGA and DVI for less than the price of the 23" Cinema?

Nope, Apple's display has DVI-D only. It'd make a lot more sense to spend less money on a larger, more-capable display from, ahem, that other vendor.

Don't you mean PS3?

Will this monitor plug into the PS3 and support 1080p gaming? If so - I'm gonna buy this and the PS3!!

To reiterate - this monitor has the following ports: Port(s) Total (Free) / Connector Type: 15-pin D-sub / DVI-D / S-video / Composite / Component / 4 x USB 2.0

To re-iterate - will the ps3 plug into this? If it does, surely thats the cheapest HDTV setup ever!?!? Ok I realise I can't watch broadcast HDTV on it, but blu-ray movies and games?

If you get an HDTV tuner that has a DVI output (a dish 411/942 and many cable boxes for example can do this), you could just plug that tuner into your monitor.
