Hey guys i have a apple keyboard usb iam using with my mini. My wife accidently spilled a my beer on the keyboard. Everything still works but i have a few sticky keys. So my question is what is the best way to clean the keyboard without killing it... Ive heard of people putting keyboards in the dishwasher and them makin sure they where dry before using them. Any thoughts?

$30 gets you a new Apple USB keyboard. So go ahead and put it in the dishwasher. Let it drain for a WHOLE DAY to make sure the majority of the water has evaporated. Now pour a WHOLE PINT of (at least 70% concentration) rubbing alcohol all over the keyboard, shake it around good and let it sit upright for another WHOLE DAY. Alcohol dissolves water and helps it evaporate, plus it will help dissolve anything the dishwasher didn't get.

Or you could just go to CompUSA and get a new keyboard, and not keep the beer near it. I personally would go with that option.

Or you could take it apart and clean it properly. If its the newest Apple keyboard all you need is a screwdriver.

Yeah, beer works much better in the mouth and stomach than in a keyboard
