So I went and got an airport express this evening, hooked it up to the sound system in the living room, and got it working off my ibook like a champ.

Now, the second part of my scenario is I have a PC in my bedroom. The way my network is laid out is the following...

Cable Modem -> Linksys WiFi G Router (w/4 port switch). i use the wirless for the iBook, and the airport express connects to the wifi as well.

also have a cable running from the router -> PC.

How can I get my PC to work with the airport express, so I could stream from the PC?
MacBook Pro | 2.16 ghz core2duo | 2gb ram | superdrive | airport extreme
iBook G4 | 1.2ghz | 768mb ram | combodrive | airport extreme
iPhone 3GS | 32 GB | Jailbreak, or no Jailbreak

... any one?

basically the problem is, the airport express works perfect through the iBook. My assumption is the way audio is getting from the iBook to the airport express is iBook -> router -> airport express. the airport express is using the wireless connection, not connected via ethernet.

My PC does not have wireless, its hard wired to the router via ethernet. will the audio from the PC still go PC -> router -> airport express, or is that not doable?

I have been looking into an APex, but it doesn't look as if they are compatible with d-link.

anyway....I just read an entire thread on this on the apple discussion boards. I suggest you take a peek if you're looking for a quick answer.
