For those that don't know, HP has a line of products called digital senders. Basically, they're über-scanners that scan directly to PDF and can then email the file off to whoever you want to email it to.
Unfortunately, HP's latest (and currently the only one available) offering in this line is the 9200c which, while incredibly cool, is very expensive because it does a whole lot of other stuff too ...none of which you can take advantage of without Windows. It seems incredibly stupid to me to spend $3000+ on the 9200c only to have to also buy a Windows PC to go with it to take advantage of the features that make it worth $3000+. HP's older versions, the 8100c and 9100c, are no longer available.
So, does anyone know if any other company offers a similar product? Obviously there's always the option of simply using a scanner and doing everything manually, but using a digital sender significantly streamlines the process.
