I have a Rev A 12" Powerbook and the fan is really loud whenever I do iChat or Skype.

I want to get an external USB mic. Something easy to use.

I'm thinking of getting the MicFlex

It looks awesome! Does anyone here use it?

Listen to the sound quality! Pretty good huh?

That company's iSight gooseneck was apparently a piece of crap (as seems to be the case with almost all their products).

That company is known for being crappy. Do a search here, read that page, etc. There's tons of evidence.

Yeah it's too bad, because they do actually dream up the right shape and appearance of their products; they're just crappy.

If you ever use video-chat, the iSight has a great microphone built in. Much better than the internal iBook mic.
