I'm having problems with my bluetooth headset, when connected to my Tibook. I'm using the D-link BT dongle, with the latest bluetooth drivers from apple, and tiger installed.
Skype has been occasionally cutting off and I get the system message
There was an error connecting to your headset. Make sure it is turned on and in range. The audio portion of the program you were using may have to be restarted.
This is when I am sitting in front of the powerbook, so range is not an issue. If I go to the sound preferences and select the bt headset (sony hbh-660) it will start showing sound on the level bar, but then stop after a few seconds and give the same error.
This seemed to work much better before Tiger and it's starting to annoy me, as I use the headset for both ichat and skype.
Any suggestions on what might be causing the problem?
J.
