I see lots of information about KVM devices, but I'm looking for something that only needs to switch the USB for the keyboard and mouse. The Dell monitor at work has a button right on the front to switch between the VGA PC and the DVI output of my 12" Powerbook, so all I need is to share the keyboard and mouse between the two computers. Does any such device exist or is there a cheap enough KVM that will do what I need?

Thanks,
Steve

Just use a USB switch. If need be, use a hub as well.

So does this fit the bill?

It's not entirely clear that this works with USB input devices, only printers, drives, etc. Even the user manual from Belkin doesn't give keyboard or mouse examples. Has anybody used this or another USB only switch?

It should, but I have never used one.

Just do a Google search with "USB Switch" and educate yourself a bit.
