I am contemplating buying a printer that is capable of handling a hard drive. I would like to buy my own hard drive and place it in the printer but I'm not sure this can be done. Does anybody know?

Most large laser printers do have hard drives to store fonts and as a secondary storage space if a large print job fills the memory. It really depends on the printer as to how you change the hard drive, but I can't imagine that it is much different from changing a hard drive in a computer.
