Are there ANY Bluetooth 2.0 phones out there? What is out there that supports Bluetooth 2.0?
What I want in a phone:
Small candybar style phone (~100 g)
2 MP camera with autofocus
MP3/AAC player, with headphone jack (on a cable is OK)
256 MB memory, or else memory slot
Bluetooth 2.0
Quad band
Where is the iTunes phone?!? My T610 will serve me for now, but I'd like to get a phone that supports Bluetooth 2.0, by 2006.

I'm looking for something similar to upgrade my Nokia 7610, but at the moment there just isn't anything.
As far as I'm aware, even the new Nokia and SE phones that were announced yesterday DON'T have Bluetooth 2. AFIK Bluetooth 2 as still not been fully finalized, and Apple are using it in Mac's in a presumptive manner.

At least one of the Nokia N series that were announced a month or so back is supposed to have Bluetooth 2.0, but I'm not sure if it's the candybar or one of the others. Maybe it's all 3.
I suppose I could bother to look it up, but I'm not. The specs are on Nokia's North American site..

The SE K750i is all of that except quadband. It's getting great reviews, supposed to be one of the best phones out there. It's also a pretty fair price for a month old phone, about $390 I think.

According to respective websites the SE K750i, and all the Nokia N series of phones have Bluetooth 1.2, not bluetooth 2.0+EDR
Also, I found this on the Apple website.
Actual throughput varies with distance and environment. Highest throughput only achievable when both the CPU and Bluetooth-enabled peripheral are compliant with the Bluetooth 2.0+EDR specification.
This would make me think that at the moment it's not possible to put Bluetooth 2.0+EDR in a phone as there may be size/processor issues that need to be worked out for it to work in something so small.
Also, I've had a quick look on the bluetooth.com website and while there is mention of bluetooth 2.0+EDR access points, they make no mention of any mobile phone, current or upcoming, supporting Bluetooth 2.0+EDR.

Link?
According to the guys at Howard Forums, the K750i has BT 2.0, according the K750i white paper and the K750i manual. So it looks like OperaMan is right:

Ok, so I looked at the manual, and the SE website, and it only says that the phone supports Bluetooth. It does not specify a version.
I have just spoken to Sony Ericsson's support line and the official answer from them is... YES the K750i DOES support Bluetooth 2.
Apologies for the mis-information I posted above.

Well anyway, it is a very hot phone. I know I'll be gettign one when xmas finally rolls around. If you're in a major city the quadband shouldn't matter that much. Try testing a friends triband phone first to see if it still works in all your favorite spots. If you get at least 1 bar with any phone, a k750 should be able to make a call. Even with 1 bar my k700 holds on to calls like a pitbull. And if you have a t610 right now who cares about quadband. Are you going to cingular from t-mobile?

I'm on Fido in Canada which does NOT support the 850 band. However, they have been bought by Rogers, which does support 850, and they're in the process of integration. However, overall 900 works fine for me, but I find that when I go to the US, it doesn't work so well in a few areas. So 850 would be good for me when I'm travelling.
