Hi.

I own a dual 867 mirror door g4 and the cd-rom/dvd just spins at high speed and might be broken.

What's the cheapest cdr/dvd player i can buy to replace it that is still apple compatible with the iapps and OS X?

newegg?
apple service parts place?

You could buy a SuperDrive and a cd burner at OtherWorld Computing:

These drives should support iApps and OSX native burning depending on your version of OSX.
